It was decided then that the gurudwara will be in the memory of sixth Guru Sri Har Govind Ji and the name of the gurudwara would be Chhathavi Padshahi Gurudwara. However, down the years the gurudwara was losing out on its usual charm due to lack of maintenance and proper care. In 1983, a very famous social servant of the area recognized the need of repairing the Gurudwara, the result of which it is transferred to a beautiful shrine today. It is the efforts of the social servant who is popularly called as Sri Baba Faoj Singh.
Chhathavi Padshahi Gurudwara today is one of the most popular worship places for the Sikhs in Pilibhit and interested people of other religions. The festivals of the Sikh community are held in this Gurudwara and many people travel along to take blessings from this holy shrine. It's a 6 to 7-minute distance from Pilibhit Junction Railway Station (around 4-5kms) through station road. One can take any local conveyance to visit the Gurudwara.
